I had the Aria from Peg, it's pretty light, but not very slim line. So I recently bought a Chicco one, thought it was lighter than the Aria. Wrong.

The lightest one around are the Combi ones, light, durable, and very comfortable for the little one. Price is the disadvantage. The good ones costs about $ 3000 HKD. I saw one in Toys R Us, pretty nice, $ 1280.00 HKD.

Kolcraft (spelling?) at Toy's R us are not bad, the price is not bad either.

I saw a Combi one with the "egg shock absorbant" technology, so-called most comfy for the little one. But it costs $3000+ vs other models $1000+. Anyone knows if it really worths the price difference? Or the normal one should work well enough?

Definitely Graco EDT.

Never regret for a second. Can be reclined with just one pull(although not totally flat, but good enough), easy to manouver (even with one hand), easily folded up with one hand (while you're carrying your baby with another hand), and only 3,5kg. You can easily lift it and put it in the taxi's trunk.

Good luck ;)

I have been using a Maclaten Techno XT since my daughter was about 6 months old (3.5 years ago). My son now uses it. It was excellent value; can fold with one hand, takes up mimimal space in the car, and reclines almost fully flat. I have also had a 3 wheel travel system (when they were babies and 'off-road') and a Phil n Teds e3 Explorer for when I needed both children to use the buggy, but the Maclaren was the cheapest and the best value.

if your baby is older (3months plus) Maclaren Quest is a good choice. It's lighter than the XT, doesn't recline as fully as the XT but has similar features in terms of the folding and whatnot. I have two now - one for my older (it's good for use up to 25 kg) and for my 5 months old.

but some people complain about having to bend over to pick up the stroller (not an issue with the graco EDT) and the weight (heavier than many of the lightweights out there)

I would be lost without the recline. Both children have slept very well in the buggy, and it gives a lot more flexibility for afternon naps. If you religiously put your children to sleep in their cots though, then that is not important.

combi is very expensive but worth the money because it is light weight, can close with one hand (with good practice) and adjustable for various positions. drawbacks: pathetic shopping basket and wheels don't have a "sturdy" feel. i have another pram that is better for long walks but my combi is great when i am on my own and the cab driver too lazy to help me load it into the boot.

Have a look at GRACO edt. We have one and our baby has been in it since birth. Honestly its so lightweight, so easy to get in and out of taxi's and I can open and close it with one hand and my baby in my arms. Its very easy for those times you are in the city by yourself having to lift up and down stairs when nobody helps you.
