nemo theme birthday party

Dear all,


I am planning my son's 3rd birthday party and thinking about using nemo as the theme of the party, would really appreicate any tips on where to get the party supplies etc.

If you're willing to go down to Sham Shui Po, there are a few shops that sell Nemo's stickers/tattoos/brush... and a few other small things. But you really have to dig into the shops :)

I bought the tattoos and hairbrush there. FYI, they sell in bulks. So you need to ask beforehand if you're only getting a few pieces.


I also found jelly candies with shapes of characters from Nemo in the Disney store (inside Disneyland hotel). They're individually packed. They're supposed to go into the goody bag, but I forgot, so I used them to decorate the cupcakes instead :)


Then I used baseball-shaped pan bought from Complete Deelite in LKF to make the Nemo cake (as the body). I iced the fins directly in the board.


Both the birthday cake and the cupcakes were such a hit..... :D


You can find pinata with the shape of Nemo in Toysrus. But maybe it's a bit too early for your 3 yo.


As for the napkins + tablecloths, I couldn't find the ones with Nemo at that time (and they're also expensive), instead I used blue and orange to set the theme color.

Thanks for the tips they are great ideas, I actually happen to go to disneyland today and find some stickers and pick up some jelly candies you mention early they are so cute and definetly goes into the goody bags. just wondering is you have any idea where I can find the goody bags will fit the theme? and the bubble maker machine?
