Can anyone recommend a good pediatrician for my 2 year old boy? He has had a croupy cough since we arrived from the US over a week ago. His cough does not seem to be improving and I am beginning to worry. I would like to take him in ASAP…maybe today or tomorrow. I live in Yuen Long but would be willing to travel to Honk Kong or Kowloon if necessary.

Yes. CY Yeung is good. My daughter (7) was seeing Dr. in Central (also good). Then I found out about Dr. Yeung, now seeing him. Most of the coughs in HK are caused by the bad air so they are what the doctors called Allergic cough. My daughter started having one about 2 weeks ago. Saw Dr. Yeung. He is quite familiar with the practices in North America.

Thanks for the info. about the air polution causing coughing. His cough has improved a bit since yesterday. He also had a cold the week we were in the US. Maybe it is just taking longer then normal to clear up due to the rough flight and the bad air here. I appreciate the recomendations I think I will take him in soon regardless of the cough rather then wait for the next trip to the US to see his regular pediatrician.

I'm thinking of buying one of those professional hospital air cleaners for our flat. The small ones we have seemed overwhelmed. Filthy black by the end of 2 months.
