I bought some cheap-o Ikea clip frames (the type with fibre-board back and plain glass front which clips on).
Now, 1.5 years later, the photos have stuck to the glass.
I don't want to rip the photos (having lost the originals). So any ideas how I can unstick them? I was thinking of maybe trying steam? But really have no idea...

I would say to get them scanned first. A high quality scan could be used for printing copies should anything go wrong.
Soaking in slightly warm distilled water may work. Leave it long enough for the water to do its work. Then air dry somewhere cool.
