I've recently got high speed cable service in Shanghai.

But it appears only a few sites will load at any decent speed, most will attempt but only get a few packets per minute.. useless..

Anyone else had this problem? The cable guy seemed stumped.. told me to get new drivers or something..

Cable internet speed is dependant on the amount of load on main cable. Meaning the bandwidth is shared among all users.

The reason the cable guy is stumped is that he was just taught to wire the modem up for users.
