I was wondering if anyone here had heard anything about this counselling service?
My mother recommended it to me, I assume it was to do with her divorce. So I'm guessing they're helpful for those types of problems.
Mine's pretty different though. Was wondering people's thoughts?

I am currently in counselling at St. John's and can only recommend it. Speak to the Director Sharon Glick (who incidentally is also my counsellor and has really helped me a lot). She will help you find the right counsellor for you. And if the nature of your problem means that St John's is not appropriate for you I am sure she will direct you to somewhere that is.
As far as my experience is concerned, St Johns is very professional and their service absolutely confidential. I have been going there for almost six months now. I don't even want to think about what my life would be like now if I hadn't sought their help. What's also important for me is that they understand people from a mixed cultural background.
Anyway, good luck with finding the right counsellor for you. And congratulations on finding the courage to do something about your situation (it took me over ten years!)
