most babies have spotty skin and if they spew lots of milk, they might get milk rash too.

there isn't much you can do about it except wipe her face regularly with a clean, damp cloth, especially after her feed (if she dribbles/burps up alot). they will go away eventually! :)

Just wanted to say that although it is normal for babies to get acne, if the spots become quite bad and end up looking like a red patch on their faces, do talk to your doctor again.

My son had the acne which disappeared the first time, but the second time, they came back quite bad on the side of his face, quite close to his eyes. The doctor said that he was having an allergic reaction to his milk formula and if we didn't change formulas, there was a high risk that the acne could turn to eczema.

After we changed formulas, he now only gets the acne very mildly.

I know this could be a rare occurance, but just wanted to let you know to talk to your doctor again if it does get bad.

Thanks. I will see if they go away over the weekend. If not then take her to the doctor on Monday!

Hi, I could not wait until Monday...I took her to the doctor today. Doctor said it is just acne and will go away in a few months time. There are whiteheads... Are whiteheads the same as acne? Should I use cream for acne?
