Hi I may have an opportunity to work in Singapore. Before I commit to anything, I would like to listen to some of the experience of you guys who have lived and worked there before. Note: i am not a big party animal, but would like to live in a cosmopolitan city like Hong Kong.

Thanks Andalucia. This is exactly what i think and is something I am still struggling to accept to live there. Hong Kong is raw and a bit more dirty and less organised than Singapore, but it is more fun and spontaneous. What people normally do there after work and in the weekend(couple without kids)? How do you find the weather? With 365 days like what we are now in HK, I find it a bit unbearable. I am an outdoor sporty person and enjoy my sports the most if it is not that hot I think if I go, it will be purely for the money with a definite point of exit. I still trying to convince myself to be a bit more open minded.
