Its the rainy season now in the Philippines. So there is a chance that you won't have good weather while there.

June-september is rainy season in the Philippines. If travelling with kids, August is not a good (and safe) time..

That was unfortunate Uncle Joe..there are more than 350 beach resorts in Boracay and you got stuck in one that didn't have generators in case of brownouts..

I prefer to go during Chinese New Year as it's less crowded- weather is also great then like Easter period.
