Boys around that age are tricky here... Stanley Market occasionally has boy things in larger sizes but it is a hit and miss affair. We get NEXT stuff sent to our relatives and they forward it on or keep until we visit for pj's / underwear and the like. For good/formal outfits we go and get trousers and shirts from polo in somehwere like seibu. Marks and Sparks has a few bits and pieces and giordano is not bad for basics. Hardest thing to find is good looking jeans. Also can try landsend online as they deliver to HK and have a local returns office if the stuff is not to your liking later and other people I know use LL Bean online/catalogue.

There are a couple of surfwear shops that do kids sizes they have a website called www.xgame.com.hk and stores in causeway bay and timesquare - details on the website... I have been to a couple of their warehouse sales in the past which were spectacular with up to 80% off but have not heard of one in recent times. Some people also go to Zara in IFC building as well - got a decent pair of jeans for my nine year old there recently.

Its not too bad for boys. Stanley is great for board shorts and t-shirts, they have all the usual names -Billabong, Quiksilver, Neil Pryde etc. Boys that age tend to be into sports wear, so any of the sports shops e.g Royal sporting house, Giga sports. The markets are also good for sports clothes.

Over the years I have had huge problems getting boys clothes especially once Next on Kowloon side closed. I still order on line from Next although I have to place my order by phone and since last year it has become a little more complicated as I have to use a UK credit card. It then gets sent to a UK address and is posted here. Still worth the hassle though as although I have tried all the other places mentioned above still can not find any where as good as next for boys. Oh, just though, there is a QuickSilver shop in Causeway Bay near the HKFC that has a few bits of trendy boys wear.
