Here's the situation, briefly:
2003 - A sum of $$ was lent to a friend in Australia. He defaulted payments and moved out of the country.
2005 - Understood he is in Korea (He's Korean).
I am currently in China, can I get a debt collector/lawyer etc to help me get back my $$?
I have a copy of a signed document stating the terms of the loan and his ex-Australian & Korean address. Thanks for the advise in advance.

Well, I don't speak or read Korean.. How to communicate in Korea? Do you have any recommendations for a Korean lawyer?

A lot of people in Korea actually speak fairly decent English. And I imagine your friend (ex-friend?) does too. As there could be some issues about the legality of the contract outside Australia it might be worth finding a law firm with offices in both Korea AND Australia. There should be a Korean Law Society (or whatever) website with English pages that will enable you to locate a suitable firm.
