Anyone knows where I can get a bottle of pure ammonia? Trying to do a fishless cycle on my aquarium. Thanks!

Have you tried it before? Practically i don't have any clue on what you mean, and how ammonia would do such trick in your aquarium.

No I havent tried it. But if you do a google on "fishless cylcing", you will end up with a lot of articles. Here is a good writeup http://www.aquahobby.com/articles/e_fishless.php
Simply put, it is a more humane way of cycling your tank rather than have some poor fish suffer the ill effects of a new tank.

There was a $10 shop in Soho that had it, it's the kind commonly found in the US for household cleaning purposes. I went back before the summer holidays to re-stock and found that they had gone out of business. I seem to recall that this store had a branch in Yuen Long, but I have no idea where, or whether it's still in business. I checked with the hardware stores around Soho and was told that nobody in HK would sell me ammonia...

Fish store sold me Stability by Seachem to seed biofilter. If you use this, you probably don't need ammonia.
