I am looking for chinese antique furniture. Someoen mentioned that Macau is a good place to go to.
Any recommendations.

Some lovely stuff comes out of Macau but some lousy stuff as well. Try the Antigue shops in Horizon Plaza, they are closer to home and therefore available if any work is needed on the pieces at a later date. Also try the Australian Association - they had someone taking groups to China on 2 day trips to a Klan warehouse full of Antigues in the 'raw'. Choose the piece/s you like then the restorers do it/them up and send to you in HK. About 50% or 60% cheaper than Hollywood Road and just as good and you get a fab two day trip as well!!
