Any recommendations for a Shenzhen Hotel for 1 night and not to far from the Lowu Commercial Centre please. Something with mid range price (HK$600-$800) and Western Breaky. The Shangrila is soooo expensive.

The only other affordable and comfortable hotel in Shenzhen is the Novotel Bauhinia. (I've stayed at most mid and upper range hotels in Shenzhen, and - other than Shang and Sheri and Bauhi - the rooms tend to smell damp and miserable.)
You can book it on the Novotel website. It's in your price range but not in your district. It's halfway to Shekou, which is a much nicer place than LoWu in the evening.... some really nice Paris style coffee shops, restaurants and cool (not seedy) bars springing up....
