I used to get all my skincare products in Lush in the UK as I'm worried about the long term effects of putting chemicals on my skin.
Does anyone know of anywhere else I can get natural skincare products without chemicals in them? Are these kinds of products always hideously expensive? Incidentally does anyone know where the Lush branch in Causeway Bay went?? I know there's one in Admiralty mtr, are there any others?
Any other tips on natural skin/hair care gratefully received.

I went the whole natural thing back when I was a teenager (as teenagers do) but gave it up at Uni as I realised it was best to go with was what worked for me - for example giving up a lovely cleaner which was natural but really didn't cleanse very well.
I have sensitivity to many chemicals and, to a certain extent, have figured out most of them. Now I am battling wrinkles, I stick with the recommendations from a top dermatologist (not a HK one) and my skin has never looked better.
Natural isn't for everyone. If you find a natural produce line which works for you, well done, stick with it. But appreciate that you may have to compromise down the road, that is you might have to go back to the non-natural ones. If this is the case, get your skin checked out by a professional to figure out which chemicals cause you problems.

I've been using Burt's Bees products for some time now. . orginally bought them in the States at the nature center gift shop where I do volunteer work . . have found them in a number of places in HK . . although I don't always know the names of where I shop, just how to get there! There's one in the IFC mall, and in TST in that shopping area that's to the left if you go up the stairs at Ocean Terminal by the Star Ferry. They're near the California Pizza restaurant. They're usually not an entire store, more like a kiosk at the entrance to another store
