fabric fatigue has resulted in the desperate need to buy new trousers without returning to uk ... but where on earth in hk can you buy 24 size pants !!! argh ... anyone know any suitable shops please ?

check out the sample shops along Johnston road in Wanchai and those in Fa Yuen Mongkok/Prince Edward.
Marks & Spencer is on sale, mostly size 20 and up items on the rack-- and don't limit yourself to the one in Central. There are branches as big in Taikoo Cityplaza and Times Square in Causeway Bay

There is a Marina Rinaldi in Central just a few shops up from M&S. It is a little on the pricey side, a shop that you would make a purchase for special occasions and not for every day wear. M&S do not do Plus Size in Hong Kong, they do up to a size 20 however. Other than UK M&S the only other M&S in the region that does plus size is in Singapore, I know that may not be of use to you now, but if you are going there definately worth a look and it is only the M&S at Centre Point that does Plus Size. Some of the linen shops in Stanley do Plus Size shirts, not trousers though unfortunately.
