I am a australian resident living in HKG. I am soon to be married, just wondering can I change my family name here in HKG, or must do it in OZ. Additionally, wanting to change my first name by deed poll as well, can I do that here in HKG?

After you are married in Hk you can change your name (presumably you are adopting your husband's family name) by producing your marriage certificate - not the one you sign on the big day but a certified copy obtained from the Immigration Dept. For things like your AU passport you can apply for an amendment by completing the relevant form and producing the same documentary proof. Not sure about the first name bit.
