Lost Octopus cards

You can get personalised octopus for minors under 18 (all of south island school now require them for identity and attendence swipe cards) and these too can be cancelled by phone You can get the personalised octopus card for a minor from ferry pier five and six opposite ifc and you need to go with the kid, passport photo and passport, costs $100 and you get $50 balance and takes around 10 working days, they will give you a receipt and then you can send anyone to pick it up. The childs photo and name is shown on the reverse of the card. There are a couple of other MTR stations that do the personalised octopus card for a minor but I can't remember where they were as they were not names I recognised.

Chicken, that's really sad. The same serial number is used to link the octopus for auto value load through credit cards and stuff - so, they should be able to lock it.
