It's good that you did it anyway. She may or may not pay you back, but you're actions were smart and healthy. At the end of the day, just think that you donated the money to charity. Maybe one day she will be in the position to pass the favour on to someone else. At the moment she's obviously not having a good time of it, so maybe extend it further and say 'don't worry, keep the money.' If she has it she'll feel guilty, if not she'll be grateful!

ur rite matches jst think u have donated to charity..but she will feel guilty for sure and she will come back to u till then u dont bother abt her....n she will regrate that she miss u.....n she wont have a good friend like u never...take care next time

The way she asked you for the money by SMS/e-mail was already suspicious. The amount of money does not matter, it's the principal. Typical, as long money is around she will be nice...I assume she has more T/T or cash sponsors. Stay away from her.
