marking territory

I need urgent advice. I am bringing my 9 year old boy to live with me from abroad and am concerned about him marking his territory in the flat. Any suggestions how I can reduce or eliminate this??? Also he is used to living in an outdoor kennel where space is not a problem unlike HK. Can anybody suggest if living in a village house is better or a flat with a roof top? I cannot afford very high rental. Please help.

No, he did not do it in my last place as I am bringing him from abroad where he had a garden to himself. He was living in an outdoor kennel. This is not possible in HK.

No, I'm afraid he has not been neutered. I am concerned that he might pee in the flat so I am looking to move to a village house where I hope he might have a small space. Perhaps even a flat with a roof top. I am curious to know how dogs can be put up on the roof top since it would be very warm there.
