As dar as I know, only Shama Soho accepts Pets. The Conrad Hotel also accepts pets with advance notice and a small surcharge. Shama Soho is often booked months in advance.


You could also consider boarding your cats at Ferndale or other Cat Kennels in HK.


Parkview is great for children, but far away. 2 MacDonnell Road is more convenient and have family rooms/suites.


In terms of your housing budget, I think you will find you need to pay about double to meet your basic requirements.


You will probably want to base your 'area' on your husband's commute and your childen's school choices. Do expect to compromise.


I hope your husband's firm is offering relocation assistance - agency fees, serviced apartment fees, per diem/stipend.

Sorry can't help you with any service apartment recommendation but based on your monthly budget you will probably only be able to find something in the New Territories or Outlying island. As cij mentioned already, if you want to live on HK Island you probably have to double your budget if we talking HK$. Pokfulam is a great choise but not cheap anymore.
