Resort in Thailand this November

Hey, me & my friends (about 8 of us) are planning a holiday to Thailand this November. The aim of this trip is just sea, beach and stretch out in general.

The idea of going to Boracay pops up but all the connecting flights and arrangement is a bit daunting.

We have not fixed a location yet, and would seek advice on the weather. As I know some resorts may be affected by the monsoon season during that time of the year. Thanx

Boracay in November is lovely. Weather is starting to cool, yet you still get plenty of sunshine. If you book on the week of November 1, it might be difficult to get good fight scheds as this is a long holiday in the Philippines.

True, there is no direct flight, but if you have a travel agent to arrange for you, it will be worth it.

There are daily flights via CX, PAL and Cebu Pacific to Manila. Take either Asian Spirit or SeaAir to Caticlan (Manila-Kalibo-Manila will take a much longer time).

Hello annebin, I have got rave review about boracay too. But we have decided against it. So, we are now scraping for resorts in Thailand. But I am very worried about the weather/monsoon problem.

Beginning of November might be iffy, I went at the end once and it was fine, Also went at the beginning once too and v. wet in Phuket.

Boracay in lovely, don't worry about the transfer its not that bad. Go from intenational to domestic by taxi and then Asian Spitit fly every hour or so. Hotel can pick you up - its no different to changing at BKK
