I want to do a disco / karaoke party for my daughter's birthday. Anyone know where we could rent a private room set up for such an event? There would be about 20 people and we would want English language tracks / scores. We're not looking for someone to put on an organised party -- we'll be there to supervise. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you are a member of any club in HK (e.g. Jockey Club, Country Club etc.), they can usually rent you a private room for Karaoke / dancing. Otherwise CEO and Red Spot / Green Spot in Causeway Bay have big karaoke rooms with a dance floor available -- you might have to ring them to check if there is any age restriction though.
