Looking for a that unusal and colourful plastic string used for bracelet making. It was referred to as "gimp". Anyone hear of it and if so, where I could buy it?

Have you tried Sham Shui Po? the area is full of beads, jewellery making bit's and pieces. Exit A2 MTR Apliu Street, take a left through computer markets then right onto Nam Cheong Street. The first set of lights you come to is Yau Chau Street, there are heaps of shops both right and left along here, and around this area.
