Can you get the visa for (U.S.A passport)at the at KCR train station at Lo Wu, at the border just before entering Shenzhen? I know you can get for HK$150. thanks.

Last I heard (but not confirmed) that we US passport holders CANNOT get a visa at the border. Has to do with the stricter immigration regulations the US put in place after 9/11 so China got pissed and upped the prices and made it harder fo US citizens to enter China, as well.
