I also want to know is it common. I even get something like pimples as well. They look disgusting. Later, even I know that's because of the ingo hair but still I am worrying.

The itch before menses is a classic sign on yeast. Just pop a garlic pearl once or twice a day to keep it in check.

I don't think there is a need for yeast medication or inserts for your case.

As for pimples- I dont think it is the same (yeast related). Perhaps your underwear is too tight, causing ingrown hair?

Hi,

You might be getting a mini-yeast infection. In the few days before your period, your estrogen level peaks. This induces changes in the lining of your vagina that yeast just love. That can make you itchy. When your estrogen levels drop and you get your period, the overgrowth of yeast goes away.

It would help to add a low fat, high protein yogurt to your diet every single day. Not only is it nutritious, the active cultures in the yogurt help to prevent both yeast infections and urinary tract infections.

Try yogurt with Acidophilus and Bifidus lactis culture. Watch your intake of concentrated sugars during itchy times as well. Too much of sugar or carbohydrates keeps the yeast alive. Watch your diet.
