Archie B's won't be the greatest sandwich if you come from New York but it's the closest you are going to get in Hong Kong.

Main Street Deli in TST has the best NY style corned beef sandwich. Has anyone found a real NY bagel or pizza?

New York Pizzah is as close as it gets.
Soho Bakery for Bagels is as close as it gets, although every now and then you can find H&H if you are very very lucky.

Ocean - Have yet to find a place that comes anywhere close, but we buy our bread and cold cuts in Citysuper and make sandwiches that come very close if not the same. :) Archies didn't come close. There is a place in TST, can't remember if it's Main Street (mentioned above), that one of us enjoyed. Haven't found a good bagel yet.
Haven't found NY pizza either, but do like Italia Pizzeria in Midlevels and sometimes even Pizza Express... Have had good sauce at both, but they're both thin crust and more like an Italian pizza than NY. Haven't tried NY Pizzah.

After New York Pizzah, I would vote for Pizzeria Italia - I agree with RiceT, they have a great thin crust, good sauce and nice toppings.

Don't know if it's any good but in todays SCMP they are advertising Deli @ Wellington - claims to be doing "the best sandwhiches in town" 92 Wellington Street with a menu online at www.deliatwellington.com

Deli @ Wellington does make good sandwiches and a great place for lunch. However it's by no mean NYC style if you come from NYC but they do make good sandwiches.
I agree coming from the East Coast that Pizzeria Italia in the Mid-Level is the closest you will get to thin crust NYC.

Anyone have the address for Pizzeria Italia? I just tried the new Ernie's Diner in Wan Chai. They have a passable Reuben and a really good burger. They had some other US comfort food like mac & cheese, chili dogs, BLT and Cobb salads.

Pizzeria Italia is on Mosque Street, just down from Robinson Road. You can not eat there (last I was there), only take out and delivery.
CRJ, where is New York Pizzah?
That deli I am thinking of in TST is Main Street. We'll have to check out Wellington's new one and Ernie's too.

deli @ wellington has good food, but I was very annoyed the last time I was there with my friend.
we had sat down at a table, (which had no sign indicating a reservation!!) only to be told a minute or two later it was reserved and could we stand up...
i know, trivial thing, but it really put a bad feeling on the place for me.
your mileage may vary

Pizzaria Italia - 25252519 (in my phone!)
or via http://www.foodbyweb.com.hk/
NY Pizzah -
New York Pizzah
G/F 17 Gough Street
Central
Tel 2840 0055
You can sit there, but it is really a take out / delivery sort of place.
Also on http://www.foodbyweb.com.hk/
The one negative about NY Pizzah, is the consistency - every now and then we get a not so great one b/c it is not cooked crispy enough. Not often, but it happens. So rare, we still do get their pizzas!!
