We did have a chat to an accountant before we left NZ but applied for the non-residency stuff ourselves. The IRD website is very helpful and has guides to help you. Have also called the non-resident helpline before and they are good to speak with. See www.ird.govt.nz/yoursituation-nonres/tax-residency/
