I accidentally touched the curling iron to my cheek and now I have a very noticeable scar :(


Is there any treatment, preferrably non-surgical, to make this fade?

Mepiform - it's a self-adhesive soft silicone scar treatment dressing and is used by many plastic surgeons.

You can only get Mepiform from doctors (plastic surgeons, for example). But you can get Cica-Care from Watson or Mannings. However, Mepiform is better.

What kind of scar is it? Mepiform or Cica-Care can only be used on hypertrophic and keloid scars.

Its a burn scar from the curling iron. I accidentally touched the iron to my face for a millisecond, wasnt much of a burn and it wasnt overly painful but it has now left a 3cm mark on my face that is noticeable even with makeup

You should go see a doctor and ask him/her if Mepiform or Cica-Care is going to help, rather than spending money and time that may not help you in the end.
