I just got relocated to Taipei, find it real difficult to click with local females here. Wonder is it the culture difference or people here r just not open enought. I'm from Singapore, would like to make more friends here.

While people can be friendly in Taipei, white women that I know there often complain about rudeness, coldness, or unfriendliness. White men I know seem to think everything's great. While this sample set is small, I think one's perception of the local community is affected by one's appearance, especially in such a homogenous society.
