Sorry, don't know if there's one, but don't think it's very likely. You're going to need to sleep somewhere anyway, the train sleepers do quite well for that purpose, and then it's only about 2 hours by bus to Humen.

I believe the only passenger ferries to / from Hainan are;
to Hiain, Guangdong... about an hour n a half.
& to Beihai, Guangxi... overnight, about 10 - 12 hrs.
(busses to Beihai are only 7 hrs & near the same price, they go through Hiain)
It Is possibly to hire boats that will take you other places but the cost / comfort / time ratio might not be to your liking ;)
The overnight bus to Guangzhou is not that bad if you're on a budget... leave around 6pm & get to GZ around 6am.
Overnight bus to Guangxi - Nanning, Guilin, Beihai or between 7 to 1o hrs.

Anyway, as far as I know, there're only ferries from Haikou to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhanjiang and Beihai. I think you'll still be better off taking the overnight train to Guangzhou.
