I am new to HK and need advice. Can aomebody tell me which is better an oil filled radiator heater or the electric ones? I know the electric ones heat up faster and are not as heavy as the oil filled ones

Thanks in advance.

We use both.

The oil filled radiator type heats slowly and can keep the room warm without drying out the air. This is what we use in the bedroom and living room. And also sometimes used when drying clothes.

The electric fan heater is good to quickly warm the bathroom in the morning before showering. Also very useful in heating the bed surface before we sleep. The heat is so dry (and feels, for lack of a better adjective-- stifling) so it's not something we want to keep on round the clock.
