volunteer work

Hi,

My son (14yrs) is keen on joining some charity organisation as a volunteer.I checked the long list on HK A-Z but somehow most of them seem to be either very far or have a long waiting list.

Can anybody suggest any organisation where he can walk in and help.

He is a dog lover, any organisation which needs people to help in taking care of dogs. Checked the SPCA. they need people during day time and its not possible for him during the day.

Any suggestions? I would really want to spend his time doing something constructive rather then just playing online games during the oncoming holidays in november.

Thanks in advance.

Hong Kong Dog Rescue - which rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes unwanted and abandoned dogs may be looking for volunteers to feed, walk and play with dogs. I think they are on HK island near Pok Fu Lam.

There is also a riding for the disabled association - but I think they have alot of volunteers.

Hope this helps
