Wheelymate, for your next Japanese theme dinner, try to get hold of this book, it will teach you almost everything you wanted to know about our cooking.

"Japanese Cooking for Health and Fitness" by Kiyoko Konishi, ISBN4-05-150110-8.

The title is a bit misleading but most Japanese dishes are really good for health anyway.

For starter you can try kidney bean with sesame dressing.Ingredients:3 1/2 oz kidney beans, pinch of salt,3 Tbsps white parched sesame,1 tbsp sugar,1 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp soya sauce.

1.Boil the kidney bean, and cut it when it cooked.

2.Mix all the ingredient toegether.

3.Lastly add in the kidney bean and it done.

For dessert you can got to supermarket jap corner and there is some instant jelly home make stuff.
