Leaving Kids in Car!!

I am writing this thread absolutely appauled at what I had just seen whilst at Parkview in the carpark. A Mother returning to her lexus where she had left her child in the car whilst she ran into the shops. Windows were up and not only could I see one small girl but their looked to be two other carseats which I hope to god did not have babes in them. Does this women have NO CLUE!! A reminder to everyone no matter how quick you think you are going to be in the shops...this is neglect. The carparks are hot at the best of times and with windows wound up and no air - you can do serious harm to your kids. What would have happened if something had happened to you whilst inside the supermarket?? Who would know that your kids were left in the car?? No one. My Husband and I are shocked - we figure spread the word tell everyone you know about this thread - Maybe it will get back to this expat Mum, can only hope that she doesn't do it again!

Just last year in my home state a child died from heat while locked in a car. Even on a cool day, the heat trapped inside the vehicle can build remarkably fast. And then there's also the risk of kidnapping.
