Looking for somewhere to relax outdoors for a meal (any kind), not particularly upmarket or pricey, just somewhere casual to have a laugh with friends. We would prefer the new territories area, or kowloon at a push, purely for convenience. Does anyone have any ideas?

yup! i just had a wonderful time in TST east last week! its called "Don Juan" its a mexican bar & restaurant. I love the view and its so relaxing, accompanied by great food with reasonable price.I'll definitely come back there, but still you have other choice, there's Red Stone Grill who caters steaks, continental, pizzas and seafoods...I love the place and its actually new, just heard from a friend so I check it out and she's totally right with that place. Definitely you and your friends will love it!

Thanks for that, and the Red Stone Grill? I really fancy doing something totally different, out of the ordinary for my husbands birhday. There'll be a group of us, willing to try new things...even something gimmicky would be a laugh, but I'm stuck for ideas!

I actually heard bad things about Don Juan...but that was some time ago when the resto first opened so you never know! If you go, please share your experience with us nicole38.. For outdoor dining in Kln, I personally love Her Thai (Thai cuisine, surprise surprise) which is in TST close to the China Hong Kong Ferry terminal... great food & harbour view.
