I know some people here have tasted sweet success in terms of meeting the significant other online. Well, I have tried and have met up with a total of 6 guys this year. Unfortunately, none worked out - 2 were smitten with me and wanted something serious immediately (but it was not mutual), 2 weren't attracted to me (I could tell) and at least that was mutual, 2 were attracted but I sensed that they weren't looking for anything permanent. So, overall score is still zero! I am starting to think that maybe its really crazy to feel that I can meet someone online. But ladies, where else could I meet good men?

places where i've met great guys: weddings, wine-themed dinners, airplanes, flirt-racing on a highway (college road trip - sounds utterly insane now), the beach (not a beach bar...the actual beach), my bank, work (not in my office but third-party meetings). i can't recall meeting a significant other through a set-up.
