Judge Deed picture quality on NowTV

Hi all,


Did anyone watch Judge Deed on BBC Entertainment this Sunday (12/11/06) at 12:00PM. Is it me or the picture quality has suddenly turned worse? I think PCCW have done something to the compression of the digital data. Before it was filmlike, now it is like an old videotape. The sound is like I have cotton wool in my ears as well???

They are trying to squeeze too many channels into the available bandwidth!

Nothing to do with PCCW. The episode looked different because it was shot on video.

You mean just that single episode? Do you have any link with that info? I wonder what went through their heads?

I also thought it might have been the Chinese subtitles being added and they did a quick and cheap transfer job in the edit studio. The episode yesterday didn't have any subtitles and the colour and sound went back to normal.
