Actually the only flashing is the banners - there is no flash in our design...
Scrollers will stay but will be moved to the very top of the page going forward - they are a good way to put up last minute announcements on the site.
We will be going with tower banners to replace the small flash banners.

Not sure if it is possible. How about HK street map (printable) so that the property section (eg all available Stanley properties marked on the one map), shops that advertise and your resource pages can be linked to show street location/building?

We will have a comprehensive list of hotels and deals on our travel channel shortly - we are revampinmg that channel and will combine deals with trip advice for Asian destinations shortly (prior to the relaunch of the new design)

Not specifically for me, but you should try to have your site meet the various validations such as W3C http://validator.w3.org/and the CSS validators. This is related to accessibility stuff for handicapped viewers. It's a real sign of a professional website. I assume it's all using CSS and the web 2 standards. You might want an RSS feed as well. Anyway, my advice would be to have a bit of a look at what is happening out there so that you're ahead of the game. You probably are anyway.

if we can't do something as waffle hk suggested in terms of sending a PM to a member, AT LEAST make it easier instead of scrolling down the name. As you type you can eliminated all the ones not related to the letters you are typing so at least there are fewer to scroll down. I HATE doing that.

Way to user-test a site!
Your background Flash / GIF animation does not appear on my Firefox 1.0 on XP. Also the left side is rendering incorrectly.
The homepage vertical alignment is different to other pages. maybe its not ideal?
Otherwise, looks good!

The new site presentation will be 100% different from this one...I have seen the new layout and will meet with Ion Global next week to finalize... once this is done then we start to put some colour to the page then customize the inner pages based on that template.
I hope to start rolling this out in January.
On one hand its sad to see this old rust bucket off to the wrecking yard - its seen us through some very tough times - but the time has come to trade her in for a Merc eh...

Going forward we will only a single button the left side 'Classifieds' it will take you into a page with the various sections. Likewise with property...
