UK house inheritance tax

any ideas of how to get out of paying inheritance tax on a house. parents still live there, can they sign the house over to me and siblings - how do we do this and what would parents have to do - ie look like they are paying rent (obvioulsy they wouldnt or the funds can be tranferred back to them) etc any ideas?

Depending the type of land the house is sitting at, you are able to structure the property title to achieve what you are hoping to achieve. If it is freehold land, you can structure them to be the title for life with you having the remainder. If it is leasehold land, you can act yourself as a joint owner holding it jointly with them.
