Hello,
I just moved to Hong Kong from Tokyo and have no idea how to pick a mobile service. Can anyone offer advice on companies to use and types of services to get - I just want to make local calls, send text messages and send and receive emails. ANY help is appreciated!

I think you'll find that all the networks have extremely good coverage these days. Just go with whoever is cheapest and has the best plan for you.
Personally I think Sunday customer service is great and coverage is quite good. Not just a cheap player anymore.
