My 3 week old daughter developed a nasty heat rash on her forehead. Does anyone know how I should treat it? Thanks!

my son had the same problem when he was a few weeks old, but the doctor said it was not heat rash, those were little pimples due to change of hormone (yes, babies have their hormones changed after birth), no treatment was required, just kept the skin clean, and it was gone in a few weeks time. It may bother parents because of the look, but it doesn't bother the babies. Hope it helps.

I have a 2.5 year old who suffers from heatrash quite often (mostly head, forehead and neck). The dermatologist I visited for this problem recommended us to put 1 teaspoon salt in about 1 litre of water and wet his face and head with this for up to three times/day. Helps us very much (the salt makes the pores to restrict and thus squeezing the sweat which forms the little pimples under the skin out).
