I have a 6 year old daughter who has been developing 'moods'. It's almost as if she has a sort of PMS and i honestly don't know what to do.
She is normally a beautiful, polite, well mannered, independant little soul but when she's like this she's stropy, stompy and won't let anyone help her even if it's clear she can't do it on her own.
Is this normal behaviour? Should she be seeing a doctor?
I have asked her if everything's ok, any worries (we are a talkative family and air feelings all the time), how's school but everything seems fine and there have been no changes anywhere that would draw out this behaviour.
Help!

I sometimes wonder if children this age don't spend so much of their time at school having to behave that when they come home it all just falls apart. Have you spoken to her teachers to see if her behaviour has changed in the class room as well?
Hope you can find the answers, good luck.

At school she's her usual smart, polite and loveing self.
I do have a theory, i figure that as women we are born with all our eggs and i cannot believe that come puberty we all of a sudden have our hormones arriving.
I'm pretty sure that mood swimgs start a lot earlier than puberty, thus my daughters actions.
Any thoughts on this peeople?
