Hi,
My baby is 7 weeks old and he sleeps 5 hours the other night, and 6 1/2 hours last night, is this normal for his age? I tried to wake him up at 3am to breastfeed but all he does is yawn and goes to sleep again.
In a way, i'm happy as i get to sleep too but worried that he will be hungy. He usually wakes up in 2-3 hours to breastfeed.
I give him 5oz formula around 11pm.

No I think by 7 weeks you can expect one slightly longer stretch. Lucky for you it's at the right time, my babies always wanted their longer sleep in the early evening! Sleep well!

Thanks @@, i'm reading the what to expect book now to find out but all it says is for babies who doesn't sleep at night, so nobody mentioned how many hours should they sleep.
Well, you bet i will sleep well tonight! ;-)

Personally, I would want to empty the breast by nursing him around 11 PM and then don't wake him up to eat during the night. Hopefully emptying the breast at 11 will make it more comfortable for you to sleep through the night without feeling over-full with milk. I'd personally only wake him up to nurse in morning or when breast is uncomfortably full, whichever comes first. If he's sleeping through night, he must be gaining weight and meeting his calorie needs during the day which is good! Don't worry about if he doesn't get hungry at night, think more in terms of meeting his calorie needs during the 24 hour period!
