Can anyone recommend any good make-up foundation for mom about 65 years old? thx.

What is her skin type and where does she live? I heard that mature women are more suited to creamier foundations as they tend to have drier skin. Does she like liquid/cream/powder type? How often does she wear foundation?

i'm not too sure. maybe oily. she live in singapore. she wears foundation everyday from morning till night. i'm not too sure which she likes. Not the powder type. I'm looking something for her to cover some spots and also looks smooth on her skin. she used cover girl or maybelline foundation. I want to get her good foundation for christmas. she is asian. Thx.

Foundation is a difficult cosmetic to buy for someone else as it really needs to be closely matched to the persons skintone/type. Perhaps if it's for a Christmas gift, you could buy her a gift voucher from a particular cosmetic counter that someone could recommend for you. That way she could go along and get advise about which foundation would be suitable for her skintone and skin type.

I would try Laura Mercier Tinted Mosturiser - go to one of the counters to get a colour match, it is really light and easy to apply and looks super natural. It is SPF 20.

Lancome do a colour match foundation, that basically blends to match youre skin tone within 3-4 shades I think. Its called color i-d or something similar. At her age, her skin will be drier so she definaltely needs a liquid foundation, not too heavy, as this will sink into her lines. If she lives in Singapore, make sure it has an SPF. Try Mac or lancome.
