Free Range Meat

Does anyone know if you can buy free range meat anywhere in HK?

Even if you can it would be good to be able to buy it in the supermarkets. I'm lobbying Park n Shop to start stocking it. If you want it too send them a quick note through their website contact form asking for it:

cool! thanks. I kept seeing things about Three Sixty "a food revolution" but ignored them cos I thought they were just and ad for a new restaurant!

I buy meat from South Stream Seafoods. They sell fresh fish and meat, mostly from Australia / New Zealand. They sell both organic and "grass fed" meat (would that be the same as free range?). Prices are good and they deliver twice a week.

No, grass fed just means they get to eat grass, not that they actually get to graze outdoors. Some organic food is free range but generally only if it is has the Soil Association logo on it.

Tenderloin sell organically raised poultry from France, not exactly free range but it states each bird has 4-6 metres of grazing space.

Thanks Claire. Where is Tenderloin? I'd rather not be buying meat that has to be imported from half way round the world since it's not very environmentally friendly (yes I know I'm hard to please!) but I might make an exception for the Christmas turkey!
