Bali with Kids and Rattan Products

We are going to Bali for the 1st time, taking with us our 4 and 2 year old boys. Will be staying at a hotel in the Nusa Dua beach area. Any suggestions on what we can do with the boys apart from enjoying the facilities in the hotels. Any intersting excursions? What about restaurants apart from those provided by hotels?


Many of my friends who have been to Bali came home with really nice rattan baskets, where can I find good quality ones. I'm looking into a nice fruit basket that can be displayed on my dining table and a basket for trips to the beach/picnic. Thank you.

We stayed at Nikko Hotel and Hard Rock Hotel where both have ample facilities for young kids. You may try Kuta Beach for seafood dinner by the beach, with musical band singing by your table and the sound of sea waves along the beach.


We brought our daughter along with a group of Koreans. She love the sea so much, we brought her snorkelling :) though she just float on the sea water. There is a under water journey where the ferry is brought to a destination and you may watch underwater marine through the glass floor of the ferry.


My then 2.5yr old also went on a motorized jet ski with me around the beach. Amazingly, she wasn't scared at all and was telling me to go faster and catch up with her daddy :) She enjoyed so much that thereafter, she was asleep and allowed us to have a 3hour massage at the beach.
