We have had terrible problems with our 2.5 years toddler as since returning from UK in June he wakes up crying in his sleep and will get out of his bed to come to our room. We have tried many methods of getting him to stay in his bed, ie sit next to his bed, sleep with him in his bed, sleep throughout the night in the room near his bed etc... None of them have made him stay in his bed when he wakes up. When he does sleep in our bed we realise he sometimes has disturbing dreams as he seems to cry or be upset in his sleep. Anyone out there who has some ideas/solutions on how we can get our toddler to sleep through the night in his own bed? He used to be such a great sleeper.
