Hello,
I would like to buy a 'Chinese grandma' baby carrier, a Mei Tai. Anyone knows where to find some ? Seems like I always see some people using them but I've never seen any place selling them !!!

I've seen there website thanks. But it seems very expensive for a 'local' product.
I was wondering if I can find some in some 'local' shops like in Kennedy Town or Wanchai for a reasonable price.

I got mine at the little baby shop round the corner from Tsan Yuk Hospital - on Eastern Street in Sai Ying Pun - I think it was HK$45 and it's working out better than any other carrier we've had. And they are sooooo sweet in that shop too.

Yeah, go there - they had several designs, some hideous but I got an OK camouflague one and my LO is so comfy in it - I tried to get it copied in Shenzhen so I'd have a back up one and they wanted 150 for one!!! ha ha!!

Yes, we'll continue to carry Salad Days Mei tais (with LLL products) even though the shop is now close.
They may seem expensive, but they are less so than import products and are still WAHM made, and same quality than US made, adapted to HK weather.
Personnaly, I have never been able to find a nice looking and/or good quality Mei tais here.
