Do you know if there is a 'christmas shop' anywhere. Previous years in the Landmark there was a 'christmas shop' selling all sorts of bobbles, tinsel etc, just set up for christmas and then closes. Otherwise any ideas where to find a good slection of christmas decorations. I know supermarkets have some but small choice, need somewhere with big selection.

Take a trip to Shenzhen, they have the largest selection I had ever seen...

Last year I bought beautiful Christmas decorations at City Plaza at Taikoo, Causeway Bay. A great Christmas Shop was set up there as an extension of an existing shop. Can't remember the name I am sorry but feel sure it will be there again this year.

Bayliner - where in Shenzhen did you see the Xmas decorations? I saw someone say on this site that there were no Xmas decs at Lo Wu mall.

Mongkok at the flower market on the flower market rd there's a small shop just opened. About half way up and he has some beautiful candles too.

You got go into the downtown area of Lo Wu, the borders are for tourists... Here is the direction,
once you cross the border at Lo Wu, get onto the subway train and get off at Loa jie, 2 stops from Lo Wu.. It's 2 RMBs. At Loa jie, exit onto the street and your are in the area... Tons of shops around this area, It is called Dongmen. That's where the Hongkies and local goes to shop... As I recalled, there is at least a dozen or so shops sells only x-mas items... You can't miss it...If you have any problems call me... I just lives next to the Hilton, which is in the heart of Dongmen. Check your inbox for my contact info...
